A self-taught basket weaver since 1986, Suzi's journey began with a single gifted basket and a simple thought: “I can do that.” Nearly 40 years later, weaving has become both a passion and a craft passed down through generations—her great-great-grandfather was also a basket weaver. Using flat reed, hand-dyed for vibrant color and finished with rich wood-tone stains, each basket is carefully crafted with a perfectionist’s touch and a love for detail, often adorned with curls or decorative accents that give it unique character.
