Scottie's Dog House

Measurements: approximately ~5" × 5" × 5"

It wasn't big. It was just the right size. Inside, there was room for exactly one golden doodle: part sunshine, part mischief, entirely convinced the world was built for her.

The walls bore the scuff marks of paws impatient to run, the faint scent of biscuits hidden (poorly) beneath the floorboards. In summer, it was headquarters for plotting squirrel chases; in winter, a fortress against the indignity of snow on paws.

It wasn't just a dog house. It was her kingdom. And in it lived a dog who believed love was best measured in muddy paw prints and wagging tails.
