The Front Porch Christmas Cottage

The snow had been falling for hours.
It was storybook snow.

And there it was.
A cottage with a wood roof and the tiniest front porch.

Inside, you could almost hear the kettle on the stove, the muffled laughter from the parlor, the rustle of paper as presents were tucked under a tree dressed in ribbon and hope.
